Bonjour,
for the first time.

Have you never learnt French — or only a little, a long time ago at school? This is the right place to start. No prior knowledge, no minimum level, no exam pressure.

Communication is at the centre from the very beginning: simple sentences, first conversations, everyday situations. Grammar follows — gently, and always in context.

The course runs in small groups of 3–4 people or one to one. Pace and content are agreed together.

Course content

  • Pronunciation and first sounds: the particularities of French
  • Greetings, introductions, simple everyday conversation
  • Core vocabulary: family, numbers, colours, food, shopping
  • Basic grammar: verbs, articles, gender, simple sentences
  • Reading and listening: simple texts and authentic material
  • Practising real situations: at the restaurant, in a shop, out and about
  • Step by step towards levels A1 and A2
